However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at User talk:Crispgatoglitz, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. While I agree that the talk page post is a bit inappropriate, it is not ok to remove random words and phrases from it. The administrator who took away the user's right to use their own talk page after the post you objected to did not remove the post in question, but you can contact them on their talk page and ask to have it removed. bonadea contributions talk 06:29, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
