Preachers of Divine Mercy (Ruha Mount) Attappady

Sehion Retreat Centre was inaugurated on 28th April 1998. Since then, the Spirit of the Lord brought forth many powerful ministries of the Kingdom of God from Attapadi. From Sehion Retreat Centre, the Lord raised up weekly retreats, retreats for children, youth retreats, parish retreats, home-missions, television ministry, Maranatha Book Centre, Sehion Kalkurishu Mala ministries, Abhishekagni conventions attended by tens of thousands, retreats for priests which commenced from 2009 onwards and yearly retreats for seminarians and deacons, retreats for religious sisters and leaflet ministries.

Along with this, the Lord also began a lay missionary movement called Anointing Fire Catholic Ministries (AFCM), First Friday conventions at Sehion Retreat Centre and so much more! Amidst all this, the Lord revealed His will to Bishop Jacob Manathodath, Fr Xavier Khan Vattayil, Fr Binoy Karimaruthinkal and Sr Amy Emmanuel ASJM to establish a monastery of priests and sisters for world evangelisation. On 8th September 2014, the initial monastery of ASJM sisters was established in Thavalam, near Sehion Retreat Centre Attapadi. Clementchristi (talk) 16:55, 1 February 2024 (UTC)
