Greg Felton
Hi Cody:
Thanks for you taking the time to set rules for posting to my site "Greg Felton," which I did not start. It is merely a way for my detractors to attack me from behind a computer. They never come out of the shadows to face me.
If you check the people who are positing libelous stuff about me, you can clearly see their bias. One of them has the IP 64.230.16.190 and lives in Ottawa. I would like his IP blocked from my page.
Let me iterate I am not anti-Jewish. I am a historian and a political commentor. I support the Palestinians in their fight for survival and demolish zionist propaganda whereever possible. To equate anti-Israeli analysis with attacks on Jews is a monstrous lie that Jews themselve don't believe. Go to the media folder on my wesbite and you will see at least three columns defending Jews against the intimidation and harrasment of the Israel Lobby.
Here's one:
Thank you for your attention and let's hope the idiots give up. Voxveritatis 10:33, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- I originally wasn't aware that this was even your bio page. Now that I know, I'm concerned there may be a conflict of interest going on here. I'll work with you to keep blatant attacks off, but the article does need to be fair, instead of overly biased either way. Also, since I'm not an admin, I don't have the power to block. However, if you continue to see vandalism from that IP or others, you can report them to the administrators who will look into it for you. --clpo13 10:39, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- Greg Felton is editing his own page. That is like Osama bin Laden saying that wikipedia is offending him because it calls him a terrorist. I vehemently suggest we keep the page and make sure Felton keeps his hands off his own page unless he can prove against which is documented.
- I honestly don't care what happens to the page beyond keeping it neutral. However, he is right in that disliking the state of Israel in no way makes him anti-Semitic. That doesn't mean the information from the JDL shouldn't be included, though, since it's not a personal attack by any editor. He may not be a Jew-hater, but since he is a controversial individual, opposing viewpoints should be considered. --clpo13 22:52, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
Dawoodi Bohra
Hey, I understand I removed content from the page Dawoodi Bohra... however I believe that content does not belong there. Instead, that content should be located on its on page.
The the content I wish to remove actually bashes and gives very negative commentaries about a certain group of ethnic people. I believe it should have its own page, nothing to do with the current page that just gives information on the group of people known as Dawoodi Bohras. If you can help me do this, I will greatly appreaciate it. Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by Freman (talk • contribs) 12:16, 18 July 2007
- This kind of thing is best discussed on the talk page of the article in question, where you can bring up what you think should be removed and get input from other editors regarding whether it should be in its own article or not. I reverted your edits mainly because they were rather drastic for something that hadn't been discussed. The negative commentaries are most likely there in order to give a well-rounded view of the article, but I don't know much about the subject to know for sure. At any rate, feel free to bring this up on the talk page. Just create a new section with the + sign on the top of the talk page and explain why you feel the commentaries should be on their own article. --clpo13 21:09, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
Etenal sleeper
Hi Cody: Please ban eternalsleeper from mangling my page. He is interested only indefaming me. Here are some salient points that byou should know about me, contrary to what eternalsleeper asserts:
1. I have never claimed that Jews should be removed from government.
2. I have never spoken before the Canadian Islamic Congress.
3. I did not leave the Vancouver Courier becasue of my Middle East writing.
4. I do not write for the National Vangaurd. Many people have picked up my writing without asking me to condone their politics.
Also: 1. Citing the JDL to denigrate me is libel by proxy. I would think that wikipedia had better editorial standards. 2. Those who are adding to my page are pro-Israel agitators who have nothing better to do that conduct character assassinations. If any of them wants to write about me they can contact me for an interview. 3. Eternalsleeper supports the Harper government and is a zionist; hence, he has a personal interst in defaming me. 4. It cannot be wrong to want to defend myself against those who spread malicious gossip.
I am asking you to stop the "felton=Jew hater" crap or pull the page.

- There's little I can do to protect your page or ban users. I'm not an admin, so I don't have the power to do either. What you can do is report this on the administrators' noticeboard and request that admins take a look into the issue and take action if they see fit. As much as I'd like to help, I can't really do much at all. --clpo13 20:27, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
Pufferfish link
hi, you have undone my new link under pufferfish some days ago ([www.kugelfischforum.de]) i would like to know why you did this. if the word "forum" in my domain should be the problem: please take a look at the "puffer encyclopaedia" that still has a link in that place: while that is a giant forum with a little website with some information on only some species of the family of pufferfish, you will easily see, that my website has brief informations about all over 180 species, including differentiation, keeping, breeding and so on... the little forum is not comparable to the forum of the "encyclopaedia". hope that you can follow my arguments. my english is not that good... :( thanks, martin —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.176.37.70 (talk • contribs) 04:13, 26 July 2007
- Hi Martin. I think you've got the wrong person. I'm not the one who removed your link. But I do think that the editor who did (whose name escapes me) removed it precisely because it links to a forum. Even if there is legitimate information on part of it, certain types of sites aren't exactly encyclopedic, especially if they can be edited in any way by other people. Another possible reason for the removal (correct me if I'm wrong here) might be because you play a role in the website, which poses a conflict of interest problem, meaning you might not have an unbiased reason for adding the site (see WP:EL#Advertising and conflicts of interest).
- Anyways, I'm not exactly sure about your link. You could try bringing it up on the talk page of the article you wish to add it to and get the opinions of other editors. --clpo13(talk) 22:10, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
