CDL

Hi there, I used used the 'Move' function on the article page. The naming convention for pages is defined in WP:NC, its one of the check I do where an article is unclassified. Weggie 21:54, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

I think this should survive the speedy deletion process (take a back-up maybe just in case). However what the article needs (I should have pointed this out earlier sorry) are independent sources from a third party. Have you had any press for this? Trade sources? reviews? That kind of thing? If so I would add the references/links to the article. I'll remove speedy tag for you for now. Hope this helps. Do you have any independent sources for the CDL article? It looks like a couple of people are flagging this one up so without the 3rd party sources I'm not too sure that leaves many options and it may well be deleted. Weggie 14:16, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Hi again - I think the assumption from the guys who have complained about the article is that this is advertising for a product or service. The only way to quell this will be through the use of independent sources I would say. Unfortunately this will be a primary factor now as the article has entered the next level of the deletion process and this is what is generally looked for. You don't need an internet source - it can be a published paper or journal review - that kind of thing? Weggie 19:14, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

To clarify the above. Why?

I dont understand why this is raising a SPAM issue?

There are no external links pointing to or from the article. This is a brand new technique of taking "rich user experience" and "organic search" and combining the two by using the CDL implementation. It has never been done and will change the way a lot of developers will create their sites. I shared all the technical specifications in order to assist the general public with this knowledge. If there is any way I can improve the article, I am open to suggestions. Is not benefiting any organisation nor is it promoting any product, CDL is just a name that was given to it.
