Looks overcited to me: 72, 73, 72, 73 in the middle could easily be flagged by just a 72, 73 after "energy"' otherwise, it become intrusive, like overlinking. Tony (talk) 01:10, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

Chris: Sorry, but I've restored the original text at WP:CONTEXT until it can be discussed properly. Before I made the change, I spent some time reading through the histories of both the guideline and the guideline talk page, and there was no consensus to do the rewrite. (The changes came in on July 4th.) AWB edits to List of life peerages

I noticed your edits to List of life peerages. The two spelling changes detailed in the edit summary are incorrect. You changed Edgbaston to "Edfgbaston", linked to Edgbaston Cricket Ground, and Aberavon to Aberravon. The old spellings were correct in both cases. In addition, Edgbaston is not synonymous with the cricket ground, but is the name of an area of Birmingham after which the ground is named.

I'm not that familiar with AWB, but am concerned that it makes it to easy to inadvertently make incorrect edits to articles without realising it.

The resulting diff from the edit causes my browser to grind to a halt. I understand why the date links have been removed, and think that was a necessary edit. However, despite the fact that I'm usually all for using the preview button and not clogging up the history, I do feel in this case that the date edits to such a long article should have been made as a separate edit so that other changes (e.g. to the spellings) can be easily scrutinised.

As I can't check the diff, did you change any other spellings in the article? If so, please could you check that they are correct? Thanks. JRawle (Talk) 21:09, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Where does the list of typos come from? "Aberravon" is definitely wrong in any context, as a quick Google shows! There are plans afoot to split the article, although looking at it now, the discussion started in December 2007! Perhaps we should just do it. JRawle (Talk) 11:57, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
