To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the   button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

January 2023

edit

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Bishop Reding Catholic Secondary School, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Did you even look at the results of your edit? It appears that you you reverted to a previous version without even checking what subsequent edits had been made. You may have restored the image, but you also deleted a notable alumnus, added POV material, added unsourced and dated material, and added incorrect material. I must have accidentally clicked on something because I had no idea that I did that. My bad, I'll make sure I don't somehow make some ridiculous edits! --CommieKarlovy (talk) 22:00, 18 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Deletion discussion about St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Secondary School

edit

Hello, CommieKarlovy, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username TheLonelyPather, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Secondary School, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Secondary School.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|TheLonelyPather}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Elsie MacGill Secondary School moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Elsie MacGill Secondary School. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Clearfrienda 💬 00:01, 15 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
