United Kingdom Hydrographic Office
editI have reverted your deletion of a paragraph from the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office article (& added a ref) as there was no explanation of why it was removed. Could you use the edit summary to explain the edits you are making to help other editors?— Rod talk 13:41, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
- I have again reverted your removal of referenced material from this article. Although UKHO may not want it released (as you commented in your edit summary) it has been made public on a government website and is therefore suitable for inclusion on wikipedia. Your username and edit history suggests you may work for the organisation, therefore you need to be careful about Conflicts of Interest.— Rod talk 19:49, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
- I have removed the mention of UN as it is not mentioned in the references. I have been putting back the rest of the text as it is covered in reliable sources. Your edits look as if you are trying to suppress this on behalf of UKHO - wikipedia exists to try to present a balanced picture & not serve the vested interests of particular organisations. Your edit summary "UKHO does not wish to release this info" makes it look as if you work for PR at UKHO & are trying to remove legitimate information about "downsizing".— Rod talk 20:56, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
