Deleted article

edit

Hi, Connor. Sorry for delay in responding. First of all, have you read the guidelines on notability and verifiability? If not, a quick glance should let you know why your article on AristotleTec was deleted and will probably never be suitable for inclusion - or at least, not for a few years yet. Also, there is guidance on conflicts of interest, which would appear to be relevant here. However, the reason for deletion is that the article contained no actual information. Okay, there was an information box indicating that it was meant to be about a company, but no actual text. You should use the sandbox for experiments and test pages before transferring them to article space. I hope this helps. Deb (talk) 08:40, 15 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Assistance required

Two questions:

  1. How can I rename a page?
  2. Is it against rules to remove items from a talk page as it is getting long?

Connorgurney1 (talk) 13:29, 8 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi Connorgurney1, I have two answers.
  1. See WP:MOVE (make sure you read the "Before you move a page" section)
  2. Yes, technically speaking. Long talk pages should be archived rather than simply deleted. See WP:ARCHIVE for more info.
If you want more help, stop by the Teahouse, Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance. Primefac (talk) 14:21, 8 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
