editI've checked my usual sources but so far, no luck. Sorry. MarmadukePercy (talk) 20:35, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
Image?
editCan you extract the image from the first page of this and upload it to Commons for me? It is certainly PD art but I am not good at getting images out of PDFs. It is for my current FAC, Statue of Liberty. Many thanks.--Wehwalt (talk) 21:47, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
- No problem, but a link to the PDF might help.. :) Connormahtalk 21:48, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
- God, do I feel stupid! I do have your talk page watchlisted by the way ... here it is here. BTW, I'm planning to go to Sask. in late September and get some research done, maybe do the '58 election or another topic, Diefenbaker Center promised to email back to confirm my appointment but they haven't yet.--Wehwalt (talk) 21:51, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
- Nice, I'll get that done ASAP. Also, any chance that you can get a decent photo of Diefenbaker's grave while you're there? Connormahtalk 21:53, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
- Count on it. The one in the article is pretty lousy. Saskatoon in September shouldn't have THAT much snow.--Wehwalt (talk) 22:25, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
- Hopefully :). Anyways, for the image - any particular name you want the file saved under/upload details, etc? Connormahtalk 01:13, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- No pref on name, it is PD-Art licensing. I'll fool with the details once you upload it. Thanks again.--Wehwalt (talk) 01:19, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- I'm pretty much clueless as to what it even is, so do you atleast have some pref, before I upload it under the PDF name? :) Connormahtalk 01:22, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- Call it "File:Indian princess and Columbia.jpg" then. it is for the discussion of the symbols that went into the Statue of Liberty, these were early American symbols of the nation.--Wehwalt (talk) 01:26, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

Sounds good, I've got it already, but it might be a massive file - I saved it at its max quality. Connormahtalk 01:27, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- I can't seem to find it yet. I've got to go out, will check on it later. Thanks for the good work as always.--Wehwalt (talk) 01:31, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- I'm filling out the upload form now - it should be up when you check later, unless my internet does another disconnect or something. Connormahtalk 01:33, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- How's this? Connormahtalk 01:35, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- Ooh, it looks nice. Thanks!--Wehwalt (talk) 03:43, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- Any chance at a date for the image? Not sure, but that may trip you up at FAC, but it's always a good thing to have :) . Connormahtalk 04:18, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
