Italo Calvino
editI noticed some of your comments at Italo Calvino and wanted to give you access to some of Wikipedia's help files. The references section of an article is meant to be a list of the sources that were used in writing the article- since Wikipedia is an encyclopedia for a general audience, not a literary journal, articles don't generally need to have a complete bibliography of the sort that one might find in a book of literary criticism. I'm glad you're knowledgeable about this subject- I like Calvino's books, but don't have a very deep knowledge about him. I look forward to seeing what you're planning to do to improve the article- I notice that, while there's a pretty thorough biography, the section on his writing is not very developed yet.
