It's Me Again, Sorry
edityeah so that number you gave me the other day, I was wondering if you could give me a link to a decent edit counter - I want some sort of way of knowing how many edits I've made, and all the crap on here is just...too insane to work out which one to use, or which ones even work. You came up with a number pretty sharpish, can you send me a link or something?
I'll keep givin' the love

Non-free use disputed for Image:Shipwrecked-Logo.jpg
editThis file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Shipwrecked-Logo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 15:50, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Hallamfm.jpg
editThanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Hallamfm.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Hi Coolmark18. The above stated article, Transmission with T-Mobile, is a music television program currently airing on Channel 4 on Fridays. The show has completed one full series, yet does not have a page on Wikipedia. After looking at a number of articles which you have created here, I feel it would be right up your street to take a look at creating it. Thanks, SteelersFan UK06 15:21, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image (Image:Sri Lankan Airlines Logo.jpg)
editThanks for uploading Image:Sri Lankan Airlines Logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. RE:Vandalism
editWhile your edits may have been in perfectly good faith, you erased (perhaps without meaning to (?)) the rest of the article after the 'main article' notification. I took it as unintentional vandalism, and reverted it. You are free to reapply the main article template, but please be careful about applying it; use the see preview button to check whether you do it right. I hope this has cleared the matter up, -- Anonymous DissidentTalk -- (dated 12:07, 21 June 2007 UTC)
- The fact that what you did was labelled vandalism was simply a matter of speed, not accusation - I always rollback (vandal) with twinkle because most of the time, I am right, and your edit looked like vandalism. Please dont take anything by this edit summary. -- Anonymous DissidentTalk -- (dated 16:31, 21 June 2007 UTC)
Allright
editHey there, decided I've not crashed your party in a while. Couple of things:
- Was wondering if you could give me a quick lesson on how you archived your pages? Got six months of discussions that I want to get rid of.
- Secondly, have you seen that our little cash cow Transmission with T-Mobile has been moved and redirected to "Transmission (TV programme)"? You have no idea how many redirect pages I'm going to have to go back through....
- also, go on to my page and check on the "What I've Done" section, you may like the handy little tool I've started using.
Till next time....--SteelersFan UK06 15:51, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

editThis is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Bigfatquizlogo.jpg. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:19, 12 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Makemeasupermodellogo.jpg
editThank you for uploading Image:Makemeasupermodellogo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 16:33, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Huntly Park
editA proposed deletion template has been added to the article Huntly Park, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? delldot talk 01:41, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Huntly Park
editImage:Presenterspopworld.gif
editI have tagged Image:Presenterspopworld.gif as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Some examples can be found at Wikipedia:Use rationale examples. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags/Non-free. Thank you. Rettetast (talk) 17:09, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Radioclydelogo.gif)
editThanks for uploading Image:Radioclydelogo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 08:00, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
- I've sorted the above for you by putting a speedy on it, cos there's already another one available at Image:Radioclydelogo.png. Hope that's cool with you. Not seen you in a while! --SteelersFanUK06 ReplyOnMine! 13:58, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
File source and copyright licensing problem with File:TalentShowSetup.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:TalentShowSetup.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear.
As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag.
You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 15:28, 5 May 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 15:28, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
