Speedy deletion nomination of Republic of West Who
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Republic of West Who requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. - I will try to reply to your questions about your article on the Republic of West Who. However, first, in the future, please do not post to the top of a talk page. Did you read the banner when you were editing my talk page? I said that posts to the top of my talk page might be ignored. I found it, but you should post to the bottom of a talk page, and the New Section feature will do this for you. To answer the original question, you did not establish notability of your self-proclaimed micronation because you did not provide references to reliable sources saying that your self-proclaimed micronation is recognized or taken seriously. Please read the Wikipedia policies and guidelines on notability and reliable sources. If you have any questions, you can ask other experienced editors at the Teahouse. Also, as to other micronations which have articles, either they have had more independent coverage by reliable sources than West Who and are taken seriously at least as claimants, or their articles should also be deleted. Please ask any more questions at the Teahouse. Robert McClenon (talk) 04:11, 19 August 2017 (UTC)
