Chronicles of Thomas Covenant

I had thought much the same. However without others interested it would be quite a task to do it from scratch. Have you checked into the WP:NOVELS and the template for articles which provides a good starting place to thinking about article construction. If I started on one book would you be able to contribute. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 08:43, 3 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Requested move

edit

A closer look at Nicolás Guillén and Nicolás Guillén Landrián shows that they are about different people, and for this reason, I have removed your request from the listings at WP:RM. Also, please note that WP:RM is used for moving pages when only one page has text; if you want to combine two pages with text, you can boldly do it yourself, or add {{merge}} tags to the pages in question. Lol, nice catch, missed that one completely. Coradon (talk) 00:04, 25 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Vandalism not properly reverted

edit

Hi there. One of your actions is mentioned at Talk:Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows#Vandalism not properly reverted. I'm not sure how aware you are of how to spot that sort of vandalism, so I've left this note to everyone who failed to spot it. Would you be able to comment over there if you have time? Thanks. Carcharoth (talk) 20:53, 12 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the heads up. I'm not entirely familiar with the whole revert process when it comes to reverting something that has multiple edits made after the vandalism was done. Because of this, I decided to just copy/paste the section that was missing using a previous versian. If you have a moment, can I get you to post something here that explains step-by-step how I should have handled undoing the deletion of the Battle of Hogwarts section. I use Wikipedia on a daily basis and I'm sure this situation with come up again at some point.Coradon (talk) 06:23, 13 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Once other edits have been made to the page, the "undo" link doesn't always work. Look at the edit the vandal made (see here), and click "undo". If it works, check it worked properly by looking at what it has changed. If it doesn't work, copy/paste is the right way to do it, but be careful to do this accurately. You can check by doing a comparison such as this. Go to the page history, click "100" at the top to get your edit and the vandal's edit on the same page, then compare them by clicking next to the version before the vandal edit in the left hand column, and then next to your edit in the right hand column, and clicking "compare selected versions" at the top of the page. If the vandal edit was the last one to the page, you can usually undo. You can also click the page version you want to revert to and click "edit" and resave it saying "reverting back to last clean version". There is also a tool called WP:ROLLBACK, but if you don't have that, best to be sure you know how to use it before asking for it. Carcharoth (talk) 12:52, 13 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thank you sir, that should help. Coradon (talk) 20:02, 13 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello Coradon! Thanks for correcting some mistakes in the intro of the article Fitna (film). As you can see on my userpage, English is not my native language, yet, I tried to improve it. If you know anything to make the intro sound better and/or more neutral, please tell me! Cheers, Face 10:50, 27 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
