Hi Corbin, I'm Tyler. This is your talk page. A place where I can say hi.

This is a response. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Farley.ty (talkcontribs) 18:18, 8 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Wiki Page Ideas

edit

I am planning on writing a completely new article. I am selecting between:

·Effects of Long Work Hours
-Although very similar to the literature review, I would use the Wikipedia-style format to group the information found in all sources, rather than speaking on each one of them independently and briefly touching upon how they intertwine
-How similar can the WP and the literature review be?
It is absolutely fine (and actually encouraged!) for the two to overlap. That way, you will be able to use some of the sources that you collected for that project for your WP article. Amyc29 (talk) 09:57, 30 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
·Work and Stress
-This is also the title of an academic journal (Work & Stress), but I will make a new page focusing solely on how work hours correlate to higher levels of stress, referencing studies done, known information, etc.
·Work and Health
-Similar to the prior idea, but this one would be focused on the physical health problems, including disease risks and fatigue and how they effect people on a day-to-day and a long-term basis

Nomination of Effects of overtime for deletion

edit

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Effects of overtime is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Effects of overtime until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Gronk Oz (talk) 14:39, 19 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi Gronk, I am doing this article as a university assignment and I was unsure where they wanted us to submit our initial drafts for the article. Over the next few weeks I will be working on the article to make sure that it passes all of the Wikipedia requirements. I will move the article into my Sandbox to continue working on it for now. After it is complete I will replace the old information with the new. I am sorry for the inconvenience. Corbin Apple (talk) 16:30, 19 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

I moved into a sandbox of yours. It's now at User:Corbin Apple/sandbox2. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 15:35, 20 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi Corbin. Thank you for the feedback on my paper. I am working through it making sure it all flows correctly, as you mentioned. I will be looking for financial examples to support my claims. I think this is a great idea for me to support the claims. I am going back to the Made in USA article to check the flow and editing my format accordingly.Farley.ty (talk) 17:11, 21 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
