Corensearchbot bringing up Wiki mirrors

Hello Coren. I've noticed that Corensearchbot has repeatedly tagged articles on Liverpool City Council elections as copyright violations (e.g. here), but the site it is referencing is a Wikipedia mirror site. Don't worry about it. The Bot sometimes get false positives – especially on articles containing long lists – that's why there are human reviewers to check.  :-) The bot tag means "check this" not "this is bad". — Coren ^(talk) 13:47, 13 March 2016 (UTC)

Deletionpedia

Well, I can but it's probably a very bad idea: even in the cases where the article can reasonably be recreated, picking its old content with a cut-and-paste removes attribution of the original author(s) so it bears a serious double-check. Also, most of the peeps reviewing like to have a big red blinking sign that "this article is a paste of a deleted one". — Coren ^(talk) 13:44, 13 March 2016 (UTC)

Youtube and a torrent page

Just reporting this bot accounting slapped a "copy" on articles Sachiko (software) and ARSloid. In the case of Sahciko, the description of the video got the information from the Vocaloid wikia, of which I had written and transferred here. In the case of ARSloid, the same thing ocurred, but that article it pulled up was a torrent site, which then slapping a link on a wikipedia article via its template was very naughty of it to do.

Regardless, both article pages have been adapted for here by me so their not word by word transfers, but there was enough like wording left I suppose to catch both articles. The trouble is there really isn't much one can write about those subjects that would end up the same. Its like asking a person to describe water, there are only so many ways you can. Neverless, I thought I'd report this because I have concerns when a bot links to a torrent site. Angel Emfrbl (talk) 08:25, 16 March 2016 (UTC)

I don't think that's an issue; the link is to something findable via a search on the Web (because that's what the bot does) and is necessary for the human reviewer to figure out what the text is similar to. Either way, unavoidable or accidental similarity is something said human reviewers understand.  :-) — Coren ^(talk) 13:17, 16 March 2016 (UTC)

You left me a note regarding the assumption that content was copied and pasted on the Rouben Abrahamian page. However, I checked the duplicator tool, and the "overlap" stemmed merely from the fact that I copy pasted the titles of his works and publications all the way down below.
