Sir, please can you help me with the situation of which I am currently embroiled. I tried searching for one of my favourite new actors 'Charles Swift', but could find no page about him, so I decided to write one, with references myself. I did notice that there was a page for the lawyer Charles D. Swift, yet this is under the title page of CHARLES SWIFT, rather than CHARLES D SWIFT. I thought that as the lawyer is known as CHARLES D SWIFT, and the actor is known as CHARLES SWIFT, I could write a new page for the lawyer with a more appropriate title, and give the actor the original page. Thusly, I copied the entire contents of the the lawyer's page and created a new page 'Charles D. Swift'. I hope this has made everything clear, but if you have any further questions, or in fact can help me with the thorny issue of information replacement, I would be much obliged.

Olympic creed

Call off your bot please Yahoo answers does not own the Olympic creed. Olympic creed was formerly a redir to Olympic oath which has nothing to do with the creed. I copied the text from Wikipedia's Olympic games article to replace the redirect with the text, which is what one expects to find. • Secondly, if you look carefully, since it is a yahoo question desk, the author of the text just copypasted information from wikipedia. I did not copypaste any info from that site.

If for whatever reason you believe an article should have a different title, you should propose a move on its talk page. Copy / pasting under a new title is a copyright violation, because you lose the contribution history. MLauba (talk) 12:29, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

So, given that our discussion is something I care about, I'm going to move it off the talk page, and into the discussion section of the main page. Dixon Jones is a London based architectural practice established by British architects Jeremy Dixon and Edward Jones. The practice first came to prominence with its winning submission for the Northampton County Offices Competition in 1973. Since then it has won many national and international competitions and awards, most notably Mississauga City Hall (Canada) in 1982, the Royal Opera House, London in 1984, and the Venice Bus Station in 1991. Most recently in 2009 Dixon Jones was selected (with Squire & Partners, and Kim Wilkie,) by Qatari Diar to masterplan the Chelsea Barracks redevelopment. Known for its work on arts and civic projects, university buildings, and commercial projects in sensitive urban sites, the practice has always engaged in the architectural debate between the new and the old. In London over the last two decades the Royal Opera House, National Portrait Gallery, National Gallery and Somerset House illustrate concerns for the existing context and how this might be transformed.

The office is currently working on two education projects: construction has begun on a new classroom and studio building for Kensington and Chelsea College, London; construction is expected to begin in Spring 2010 on the Saïd Business School Phase II, Oxford University. In addition, projects for a new public space for Exhibition Road, London and the redevelopment of Regent Palace Hotel in Piccadilly Circus are both on site.

Recently built Kings Place, London, is a mixed use building housing the Guardian and Observer Newspapers, and a large complex of public amenities including the first new concert hall built in London since the Barbican.

The practice has won many RIBA Regional Awards, Civic Trust Awards, and miscellaneous awards including ‘Best of the Best’ BCO Award for Kings Place Dixon Jones projects are regularly published and exhibited. A monograph on the work of the practice entitled DIXON JONES was published by Right Angle Publishing in 2002. Jeremy Dixon and Edward Jones both lecture and teach widely in the UK and abroad and are external examiners for the RIBA.
