A request
edit→ Forwarded from User talk:Athaenara
I have a request, can you please delete everything I had worked here and here. I am Corey.7.11.1992. I admit that I was doing rubbish and you can delete if I'll be very grateful. I asked another administrator to delete, and he replied that there was no need. Please delete. That's what I worked, not someone else. How much can be difficult. Thanks in advance. Corey.7.11.1992 09:10, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
I think the other administrator's view is correct, deletion of your revisions is not necessary. You may find the Wikipedia:Introduction to deletion process page helpful to you. – Athaenara ✉ 02:11, 22 July 2010 (UTC)

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Clash2010Soundtrack.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Clash2010Soundtrack.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 19:48, 25 July 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 19:48, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
- Question for Corey.7.11.1992: did you blank the file page because you intended it to be deleted? If so, you can simply tag it {{db-author}}. – Athaenara ✉ 01:07, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
- I sincerely apologize, but I made a mistake and I ask you to delete this file. Thank you. Corey.7.11.1992 02:11, 26 July 2010
- Done. – Athaenara ✉ 21:46, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
File:Constantine Midnite Chas.jpg
editI saw that you uploaded a new version of File:Constantine Midnite Chas.jpg for the article Constantine (film). Your file is a significantly better upload and indeed valid, but you did not properly update the license and non-free rationale to reflect your new uploaded file. Just a heads up. Copyright tags
editPlease don't forget to include copyright tags when you upload images. Thanks, Theleftorium (talk) 12:52, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you for telling me that, I was totally forget about that. Thank you for correcting my mistakes. Corey.7.11.1992 8:54, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
- Just an added reminder again for you to update the rationale for "File:Constantine Midnite Chas.jpg" or I will have to revert it back to the previous version as the present fair usage rationale was only valid for the previous version and is not invalid for it in it's present form. Deletions
editI have not handled deletion of individual revisions, and this looks like a fairly complicated case, so I think it would be best if you asked someone else. I'm sorry, but I just don't feel comfortable messing with that at this point in time. Guettarda (talk) 17:57, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
A simple question
editThe following was posted on my user talk page:
I have a simple question if you can answer. If I wanted someday to delete my User page, it will be deleted completely with all my work on Wikipedia like I never was be here. Thank you in advance. Corey.7.11.1992 4:34, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
- (If I may answer this...!) You can make a request at any time for your user page to be deleted but your contributions are 'irrevocably released under CC-BY-SA 3.0 License and the GFDL'. You can't get rid of them. --RegentsPark (talk) 15:21, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
RegentsPark is right, you can have your user page deleted simply by putting a {{db-u1}} tag on it. Your contributions are another matter (see Wikipedia:Revision deletion). – Athaenara ✉ 21:12, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

Log deletion request
editHi Corey, if you would like to become an administrator it would be better to leave the log as it stands. Artificially getting entries stuck off would raise suspicions. Administrators have to be able to explain why they made a mistake and correct the problem, not sweep it under the carpet. If you learn how to do something correctly after doing something wrong, that is a better outcome then pretending nothing happened. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 21:49, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
- Repeatedly asking for your mistakes to be deleted and hidden just draws more attention to them. In case you don't see my latest reply at the help desk: are you also editing as InfamousPrince (talk · contribs)? If so, why? BencherliteTalk 15:34, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:The Happening Soundtrack.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:The Happening Soundtrack.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk 05:17, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

The Proposal
editI'm confused: are you asking for revision deletion? Nyttend (talk) 18:29, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, if you can delete all my revisions in that file. I was said a reason for deletion in the text that I have set on your User talk page, so I hope that you will simply delete because there is no need to someone see my "nonsense" to say so. Thank you again. - Corey.7.11.1992 (talk) 18:42, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
- Our revision deletion criteria don't really permit this kind of action; it's not the egregious vandalism (e.g. slander, advanced personal attacks, etc.) for which the RD process was designed. Nyttend (talk) 01:38, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
Disputed non-free use rationale for File:The Hangover Soundtrack.jpg
editThank you for uploading File:The Hangover Soundtrack.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. – sgeureka t•c 18:07, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
