You asked for feedback on Coronado State Monument. I think you did a good job with this as your first article. I'd suggest citing the sources that you use in your articles -- see Wikipedia:Citing sources as a guideline. Basically, this gives people a means of knowing that the article is legitimately sourced, and tells people where to go to look for more information. I'd also suggest reading the links in the welcome message posted above this one.
There's kind of a learning curve to creating Wikipedia articles, but regardless, it's good to have your contributions. I work on articles about properties in the National Register of Historic Places and I don't think there's been a lot of participation from New Mexico, so anything you're interested in writing is appreciated. Take a look at List of Registered Historic Places in New Mexico for an idea of some articles that we could use on here. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me here or on my talk page.
