Article: Cooperative Principle This article has a substantial amount of content without any citations. Some of it is already tagged, but other sections, primarily the criticism, seem to be either uncited or original research. I feel the article could also use some cross-linguistic information; surely a source that claims Malagasy observes, minimally, different maxims will comment on a cultural clash of maxim assumptions. Importantly, the section on flouting is missing some major points, namely that flouting is not the only manner of treating the maxims other than observing them, and that there is a difference between overt and covert flouting of maxims, i.e. lying versus dry sarcasm.

For the determiner article, the page is severely lacking for a contentious point of linguistics. The description is a mess and deserves at least two more expanded sections, and I plan on focusing on determiners in the context of UG and dependency grammar, pointing out some of the structural differences between NPs and DPs and how that applies to determiners and the potential existence of the NULL determiner. There are huge gaps between determiner and determiner phrase, and while the null DET may belong in determiner phrase, things like ordinals being determiners do bleed over. Perhaps a summarized section that leads to determiner phrase is in order.
I didn't know where to put this in the article.
Determiners are basically used to specify a thing, or noun. It helps determine the amount of the noun. For example: The car. This example signals that there is only one car "the" car. Those cars. This example would signal that there are more than one car. Determiners basically gives a noun sufficient amount of details. Like the amount of the noun, like the example above, to state possession. For example: My car, his car, their car.
As you can see, there are various types of determiners: 1. Possessive nouns 2. Possessive pronouns 3. Indefinite pronouns 4. Demonstrative pronouns
In this website, are more examples of each type of determiners. http://grammar.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/determiners/determiners.htm

editDeterminers Most of everything in this article is relevant to the article’s topic. The article does remain neutral, presenting solely facts. The viewpoints are a little underrepresented because the article only really has a brief explanation about Determiners and it doesn’t really elaborate with any background or history on determiners and modern day usage in possibly other Indo-European and possibly how they compare to English determiners. The links in fact work, and the sources do support the claims in the article, Each fact is referenced with an appropriate, reliable source. The information that was noted was from published articles. Again, the article is slightly underrepresented and could use a lot more information for the reader, but no information on the article is out of date. Overall, really good and informative article about determiners! -Ntijerina 3/26/18 9:38pm
- Hi Ntijerina, thanks for the review! We've already found one new source and we are in the process of looking for more. This subject is more documented than this article seems, so we're looking to represent that! Thanks for the feedback CorporalKobold (talk) 00:42, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
- Ntijerina, thank you for your review! We will be adding more sources to confirm the material on the article and we have added more subsections for the article. Thank you Tatangrunge (talk) 16:13, 26 April 2018 (UTC)

editI really enjoyed reading your draft. I thought the article was very informative and contained accurate sources to back up the information. However, I would recommend maybe adding another section just for the subcategories. That way you can break down each category and explain thoroughly, in an organized manner. If i was interested in learning more about determiners, I would definitely visit this page!
- Good idea on the subsection, it has been added, and each subcategory has been given a brief summary pulled from their main article. Thanks for the review! CorporalKobold (talk) 00:41, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
- As my partner already stated, we have created another subsection for the different categories of determiners and it includes a brief description of them. P.S. it is important to learn about determiners, especially for syntax class!Tatangrunge (talk) 16:13, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
Thank you for taking the time and reviewing our article. We did see your review and did add the subcategories if determiners and did add the explanations of each subcategory. Cainss (talk) 01:01, 26 April 2018 (UTC)

editThe article is very academic in tone and pretty thorough, but I agree with the peer review above that a separate section for the categories of determiners (also called determinatives) should be added. An explanation of the categories of determiners, as well as some of the different ways they are categorized, would go a long way toward creating a more comprehensive article. --RBauder (talk) 15:50, 27 March 2018 (UTC)
Thank you for reading our article, we did add a section of the subcategories of determiners. They were very much needed to explain this article in a detailed way, we do agree. Cainss (talk) 01:15, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
- I'm glad you think the article sounds academic in tone Rueul! I was thinking whether some of the language needed to be changed or not, but that kind of gives me a good idea on where to go from now. Thank you! Tatangrunge (talk) 16:13, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
