Thank You for your prompt response. I hope I am responding in the correct manner. My website includes some sources linked there, including an interview with The Pandorian, as well as a few articles about me and my work on this blog. I tried to link them here, but they seem to be causing my response to be disallowed. I can also put you in touch with several photographers in NY who have photographed me and/or send you portraits they have done of me. Numerous friends and fans can also verify that I am who I claim to be. Additionally, if you Google my name and my moniker, Plastic Robot, you will find my blogs, articles about me, and pictures of me, as well as my own photography and artwork. I hope I'm being helpful here.

Deleted article

Hi, after reading article on facebook (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Comtrade-group/112209052128128), I saw that you deleted article "Comtrade group" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comtrade_group) for lack of google search results.

In Serbian language ComTrade is spoken and spelled "Komtrejd", so you may try searching that word, I believe that there will be plenty of results. I received the notice that this file was orphaned. However, I did respond to the notice linking to the article (Sharing_the_Secret) for which it was uploaded and in which it was used. Do you think this counts as a protested prod? Some advice please

I nominated an article PROD and it was deleted by yourself... a day or so before the end someone deleted my signature from it, which I didn't think was relevant - was it this guy and does this count as a late contesting do you think? Mistake

Adam and the Amethysts

Courcelles, I know it's a bit late to object to the WP:PROD of Adam and the Amethysts. I have not viewed the deleted article and don't know how. However, stepping up with notability references:

The band was signed to Pome Records owned by two notable musicians. The band is in rotation on CBC Radio. This satifies the conditons of WP:NM. I'm guessing the nominator did not do a sufficient search and should have realised that despite it's name, allmusic is not a complete listing of music?

My question: how can the original article be restored so that I may add the citations noted above? All I know is that you deleted the article based on the WP:PROD. Argolin (talk) 09:50, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

Do you have any idea why the article was prodded? The article had three references and is associated with the band Miracle Fortress. As far as I know, that is enough to satisfy notability per WP:NM. Plaid-collar crime

Hi Courcelles. I'd like to look again at your recent prodded deletion of Plaid-collar crime. It appears sufficiently notable. There are numerous sources fr its use as a term. Hmmm. I'm very very close to agreeing that it should be deleted. Looking at the google cache... both sources are broken links. There is a single source that I can find: http://www.forthepeople.com/plaid-collar-crime--11-1824.html. It is quite similar in content to the deleted article, possible the real, uncited source. The incoming links seem to be all due to Template:CriminTheo, from this edit. Every other online source seems to be due to mirroring of articles containing this template. I think it is squarely a WP:neologism.

Would you mind copying/moving this talk page section to my talk, and userfying the article with history intact to my userspace. I'd like to take one last look through, and then I'll probably CSD#U1 it in a day or two. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 15:21, 18 January 2011 (UTC)

Orphaned Image Notifications

Notifications per my talk page.

Regarding those, I never knew the articles were even being considered for deletion. Can you point me to the logs for the articles' deletions? They were all originally used in articles for Kenny Roger albums. "With Love" can go, as it was a budget release I believe, but the other two were released directly by Liberty (I think one only overseas) and the articles thus should have remained, I believe. Short Stories in particular was a compilation album released by Liberty (no doubt to try to garner additional sales with old material) over whose track listing AllMusic disagrees with a print of the record that I have actually seen. So where are the deletion logs, to which I was never alerted? I thought I at least created two of those articles and the nominator (no doubt TenPoundHammer, he patrols country articles) never notified me, even of the Speedy request if it was that.

I did save Live by Request once, in fact, by adding charting info, which had been missing before; Short Stories I think also made charts, and I think the 25 Number Ones did as well in Europe, but I'll double-check that (again, "With Love" can go being budget). Short Stories (Kenny Rogers album) was deleted as an expired PROD, with the concern "Non-charting album. Allmusic entry is blank. No sources found." 20 Greatest Hits (Kenny Rogers album) was also an expired PROD where the concern actually made it into the log, "Non-notable compilation, no sources. Contains a great deal of OR." You can see a deletion log by typing the deleted article name into the search box, and then clicking the redlink at the top where it tells you that no article by the name exists. As an addendum, I looked up Short Stories and remember now that this one was a pain for me to find information on. I will need more time with that one.

20 Greatest Hits isn't in AllMusic, but 25 Greatest Hits - on the same page - is. I recall the 20 edition being released internationally and the 25, with almost identical album art, coming four years later in America (it is because of the album art that I combined them, in fact). As for charting information for the latter, well, here it is. Definitely notable by itself even if we end up renaming the article and removing the other.

For now, I'm making one big change; some IP made some edits that ended up removing a lot of info from the 25 section. I'll restore that for tonite, then I'll look into charting info for that one and the other 2morrow. Another addendum. Something doesn't seem to match up. I just found this with the album artwork I list as 1983. I stand by my guess that this 1989 one, as it's labeled, is an import of the European one, but again I'll research this sometime 2morrow.
