Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia with this username. This is because your username, Citic telecom cpc, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you think that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

I've renamed your account. To get unblocked satisfactorily answer MER-C's request about how you will contribute to this encyclopedia if unblocked. PhilKnight (talk) 20:52, 18 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

I will edit the content of CITIC Telecom CPC's Wikipedia with regard to the rules of Wikipedia and make Wikipedia continuously act as the richest of content free encyclopedia

Can you elaborate how you would do this while keeping within our conflict of interest policy? SQLQuery me! 04:09, 21 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

I am not a paid editor who respond to write sound news or advertising and promotion content for the company. I only edit the development history and partners of the company.

With regard to the rules of Wikipedia, you are not allowed to directly edit CITIC Telecom CPC because of your WP:COI. Are you aware of that? Do you intend to declare your WP:COI as explained here? Take a note that COI is different from paid editing. Vanjagenije (talk) 19:07, 22 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your remind. I am not the part of the company. I am just editing purely about the development history and partners of a company. To clarify the status, I would like to re-name of my account. I hope this can solve the COI issue and couldn't undermines public confidence in Wikipedia. Sorry for the inconvenience that caused.

I have no relationship with the company. May you please unblock my account and allow me to rename? Thank you very much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CpcAndy (talkcontribs) 10:37, 26 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

I don't quite understand you. Why did you put the "Connected contributor"? Are you connected to the company or not? You say that you are not, but you also posted the "connected contributor" template. Also, if you are not connected to the company, then why did you chose the name of the company for your username? Note that COI issue cannot be solved by changing the username. You are either connected to the company or not, regardless of your username. Vanjagenije (talk) 18:52, 30 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
