Current MCPOCG

edit

Dear CptKeyes,

you recently uploaded a photo of Steven W. Cantrell, MCPOCG. On the uscg.mil website, there is a more recent photo of him now. Do you think you could upload it? I tried it twice, but was told that there was a copyright violation... Probably, I did something wrong.

Also, I started to create the bio article, but when I wanted to continue my work after some hours, everything had been deleted... 194.154.216.87 (talk) 20:10, 4 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello ! First, I apologize for my english level. I'm only learning English   Concerning the MCPOCH, in fact, I didn't upload something. I've just add a Commons link. Indeed, there is a more recent photo on the USCG website. Nonetheless, I don't arrive to download it. There is always a bug. Concerning the copyright violation, it's strange. As the photo is a USCG one, there mustn't be any problem of copyright ("As a work of the U.S. federal government, the image or file is in the public domain"). I saw, there, that the page has been deleted because of this reason : "Article that has no meaningful". Have you only create a page with the photo or a full bio article ? Best Regards, --CptKeyes (talk) 11:43, 5 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Claudevsq: Bonsoir ! D'accord, merci pour ces précisions ! --CptKeyes (talk) 18:17, 7 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Frédéric Trément moved to draftspace

edit

Unfortunately, an article you recently created Frédéric Trément, is not ready as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage with citations from reliable and independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. I've moved your article to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's WP:GNG guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
