References / Citations

edit

Jack,

WP standards have changed since I've been editing. It used to be that just adding a References section was sufficient, then list the books like in a bibliography in alpha order by author's last name. That makes it easy for others to add new references.

New policy requires a citation, preferably with a page number reference to one of the works in the references section. There are several styles of doing this, see WP:CITE. You might also want to read WP:V to get a better idea of current verifiability policy...

Do the best you can; I have the page on my watch list and will do any needed clean up so you can observe how some of the details are done w/o the need for long explanations :-)

Hope this helps, Hanuman Das 17:03, 7 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much for your reply. I am still learning, and I apologize if I make mistakes. Thanks also for keeping a watch on some of my contributions! I have already read alot about wiki, but I guess it will take time to get into all the details. cJ --Cracker jack 17:13, 7 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Page Design and Appearance

As you can see my page had had a fresh up, but I'm under no circumstance happy with it. I was wondering if anyone has any idea how to improve it. I know there are several skilled people out there! Cracker jack 20:55, 14 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
