 Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, Qcne (talk) 09:46, 6 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Philosophy

edit

Hello, CrayonOfWorld92, and welcome to Wikipedia. I see you list three items under "WikiPhilisophy" . The second is certainly appropriate, the first is an interesting suggestion that can be discussed, but I'm afraid that point 3 is just wrong according to current Wikipedia policy. I'd like to suggest an amendment:

  • Every notable topic should be covered with an article.

Thanks, I edited it now. |-CrayonOfWorld92(talk) 20:27, 6 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

AFDs

edit

Hello, CrayonOfWorld92,

Unless you are a returning editor, you have only been editing for one day and have 14 edits to your account. This is not enough editing experience to thoughtfully participate in an AFD deletion discussion. You haven't had the time to learn about Wikipedia's many policies on notability and sourcing articles. Please hold off weighing in on deletion discussions until you have been editing for a few weeks, or even better, a few months, and you have become extended confirmed. I'm sure that you want other editors and administrators to take your opinions seriously but you have to demonstrate familiarity with Wikipedia policies and guidelines and that take time and editing experience.

If you have any questions about what I've said or Wikipedia's policies or deletion practices, please bring them to the Teahouse. This is an excellent forum created for editors such as yourself who are new to editing on the project. Good luck! Liz Read! Talk! 00:55, 8 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Blocked as a sockpuppet

edit
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:ChronicleBooks885 per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/ChronicleBooks885. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
