I've reviewed the draft of the work you have in your sandbox. Overall, I think you did a good job of adding citations to the gene therapy section. You also separated information and explained it more thoroughly than the original article. There are still some areas which could be improved.

Major points: Try to be a bit more efficient in terms of word choice. Some sentences are a bit wordy. For instance, the first sentence of the gene therapy section may be easier to comprehend if it were split into separate sentences.

You should focus on finding sources to add to more of the article rather than just one main paragraph since that's what the article needs for verification. In particular, find a citation for “Major diseases that can be treated with gene therapy include viral infections, cancers, and inherited disorders, including immune system disorders” or delete it if it's not verifiable.

The principles for gene transfer section is in your sandbox, but no edits have been made. You might want to expand this section a bit.

Minor points: There are some typos. In the second paragraph, it says "using via."

Continue working on editing the remainder of the article, and begin editing the article in small pieces.

Major points:

• Sentence structures could be further revised to improve the flow. This applies mainly to the first half of the first paragraph.
• Word choices and syntax look to be very good besides the point mentioned above.

Minor points:

• Section on "Principles for gene transfer" looks to be untouched? Not sure if it is going to be omitted or revised later.
• Remember to remove "test" in the "References" section
