Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Hello, CristinaHanganu. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Marian Lupu, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Tacyarg (talk) 14:22, 27 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi, you have again added a large number of articles to the Marian Lupu article and marked them as your own work. Please confirm whether you have a a conflict of interest regarding this article. Tacyarg (talk) 12:23, 1 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
Could you please help me? If Marian Lupu himself makes an account on wikipedia, can he post all the necessary photos on the page Marian Lupu? Thank you! CristinaHanganu (talk) 11:42, 18 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hi, thanks for your response. As the subject of the article, he should not edit the article directly. If he has photographs for which he holds the copyright, he could upload the photographs to Wikicommons under a Creative Commons licence and submit an edit request on the article's Talk page requesting that someone else add the photographs to the article. But you may want to ask for help at the Teahouse or WP:IMAGEHELP as I am not that well-informed about image policy. In any case, please do read the conflict of interest guidance linked above and disclose your conflict of interest. Remember that Wikipedia is not intended for people to promote themselves.
