Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Critical Systems

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Critical Systems, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Username concerns

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Criticalsystemsboise", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it is the name of a company that you are attempting to write an article about. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 02:22, 12 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Advice

edit

The article was deleted for 3 reasons. First, it was copied from tour website. This can not be done without first giving us permission according to the detailed requirements at WP:DCM, which irrevocably gives everyone in the world a free license to copy, modify, and distribute the material. Very few companies are actually willing to do this.

And, second, there is no reason to do so, because the material is suitable to a web page, not to an encyclopedia article. It contains praise such as " high average mean time before failure of over 42 years " sourced only to your own press release; most of the article is devoted to such statements.

Third Wikipedia requires that subjects of articles have multiple references providing substantial coverage from third-party independent reliable sources, not press releases or mere announcements. Every reference in the articles is either a press release or your own web site. Unless you have proper references , it will not be possible to write an article.

This has now been deleted two times. Don't do this a third time. DGG ( talk ) 04:36, 12 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thank you. As i stated, I'm new to Wikipedia articles and am having trouble figuring out all the nuances.

Username block

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you.
