Thank you for recreating the article about The Killing Tree. This is the third time that we have had an article about the band on Wikipedia. We've also had articles about some of their albums.

As an encyclopedia, we have come up with criteria for which subjects have articles. While The Killing Tree is obviously more than just a band that some guys put together in their garage for a week, they are not yet the equivalent of The Rolling Stones. We have to put a line somewhere between the two which is used to determine which articles are kept and which are not. We have come up with a series of notability standards, including one specifically for bands.

The basic rule for bands (and most subjects) is:

It has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent from the musician/ensemble itself and reliable.

And those published works need to be cited in the article. Since the article still doesn't have any such citations, it may be subject to deletion. If you can produce links to published works online or references to national publications I might find at my local library, that talk about and of the notability criteria (charted hit, gold record, national concert tour, etc), then I would be happy to help develop an article that will meet the notability standards.
