University of Wisconsin-La Crosse
editThank you for the comment. I had been busy with some other items including helping out at my alma mater Aquinas High School in La Crosse with the archives. Plus I had some minor surgery. I read though the La Crosse State University and made some changes. Many thanks-RFD 15:04, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

UW-La Crosse GA review
editOverall, the article looks very good. You've done a good job editing it. Glad my comments were useful! Hope to see it renominated for WP:GA status again, soon! Dr. Cash 03:33, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Eugene Murphy Library-University of Wisconsin-La Crosse
editEugene Murphy Library needs to be added to the article about La Crosse State. Thanks-RFD 15:37, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

University of Wisconsin-La Crosse
editThe article is well written. You may want to write about the Hoeschler Tower, since the tower is a promient landmark. I expanded the articles on Wittich and Main Halls by a wee bit. I am sadden by the passing of Maurice Graf; I meet him, when I went to La Crosse State. Thanks-RFD 14:55, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- My apologies. I saw your comments about Hoeschler Tower. Thanks-RFD 14:59, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
University of Wisconsin system
editHi! Thanks for commenting on my contribution to the UW system page. Its always nice to have someone appreciate one's effort. I actually stole the idea for the map from the Pennsylvania State University article, so you can't give me all the credit :) Thanks! – Lordmontu (talk) • (contribs) 02:21, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
Joe Gow
editI added a link from the Trib this morning about Joe Gow's installation as chancellor. Rather then trying to put in in the text of the article I put it bin the external links section. I hope you can make use of it in the article itself. Thank you-RFD 14:39, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
Grandad Bluff and Joe Gow Thank you
editThanks for putting the photo in the Grandad Bluff article of which was badly needed. I am going to let someone else put in the metric measures and exactly how high Grandad Bluff is. Also I put the Tribune link about Joe Gow in the UW-La Crosse article at the external links section. You probably have a better idea to put it some whereelse. Again, my thanks- RFD 23:58, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- I found an article about the passing of Maurice Graff in the Tribune. I inserted it as a citation in the La Crosse State University since it mention that Main Hall was named after him. Thank you-RFD (talk) 00:09, 15 December 2007 (UTC)I found out how to put citationns in,
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Uwlathletics.gif
editThanks for uploading Image:Uwlathletics.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 21:22, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Uwl-wordmark.jpg)
editThanks for uploading Image:Uwl-wordmark.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 20:26, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

editThanks for uploading File:Vetexpan.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones (Talk) 22:45, 26 May 2011 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The file File:Cowleyhall.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
orphaned image, no encyclopedic use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
