Thoughts on Proposed Names

• I think WikiChef and WikiCook are good, but I think WiKitchen and WikiKitchen are confusing. Here I am, vetoing my own suggestions... and talking to myself, too. A Cook's Wiki is good (a take-off on the Anthony Bourdain book A Cook's Tour), but I feel like the word "wiki" should come first. -- Chris 10:13, 7 December 2005 (UTC)

Wikibooks

Have you considered joining the Wikibooks Cookbook? Several areas that you want to cover in your cook's wiki are already included there, and expanding the Cookbook to include the others would be possible. I think it would be easier to build up an already existing project (with hundreds of recipes and ingredient modules already written), than to start up a new one. Gentgeen 19:28, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
