David is saying that you shouldn't have reinstated it at all. There is almost never a good reason to revert any edit a user makes to their own talk page. – Joe (talk) 20:38, 23 September 2018 (UTC)

But this user is not heeding the warnings that he is being given, so why shouldn't I insist on warning him about his disruptive behavior? He was reverting some corrections I was making to the 2018 Atlantic hurricane season article without explaining why, and he was also deleting what other users were editing as well.
