Good work on this article. Thanks. ausa کui × 21:37, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Thanks. I guess with having made more edits in the last ten minutes than the whole of June I can sort of consider myself in wikimood again :P Cynical (talk) 21:47, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Lebanese Premier League

Hi, re your AfD argument at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Youssef Barakat, could you please point me to where our article states that the league is professional? I looked before nominating the article and again just now but I couldn't find it either time. I'm not sure if I've got tunnel vision here :S Cheers, – Toon 16:31, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Afd

Sorry, it wasn't actually from the main LPL article but from Lebanese_Premier_League_2005-06:

The 2005-06 Season of the Lebanese Premier League was the 58th season of Top-Flight Professional League Football (soccer) in Lebanon.

Household seismic safety

re.: Household seismic safety

While you have flagged the article for deletion, you have provided no justification for your action on the article talk page. Please do so within the next week or I will feel free to remove your AFD tag.

Sincerely, Leonard G. (talk) 18:43, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Household seismic safety

Leonard. Per Wikipedia policy my explanation for nominating the article for deletion is stated in the deletion discussion page. For your convenience however I'll quote it below:

Article consists of a guide to preparing one's home for an earthquake. Wikipedia is not a howto guide.

I would strongly suggest that you refrain from removing the Afd notice from the article, as this is against policy. The very Guide to Deletion you linked on my talkpage states this clearly:

You must not modify or remove the AfD notice.

Also the Afd notice itself is clear:

Feel free to edit the article, but the article must not be blanked, and this notice must not be removed, until the discussion is closed.

The deletion notice will thus remain on the article until the discussion is concluded, which will be at 17:33 (UTC) on 10th August 2009 unless the discussion period is extended. If the consensus of the debate is to keep the article, the admin closing the discussion will remove the template for you. If you remove the Afd notice before the discussion is finished then it will be reinstated. If you think the article shouldn't be deleted, then the best course of action would be to state your reasons for wanting it kept at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Household_seismic_safety.

Kind regards

Hi: I looked at the talk page and saw no discussion - so now I see that there is a separate deletion discussion (I did not know that). If I move the content to a Wikibook, I would like to have a (small) article in WP to act as pointer to that. What content would you consider appropriate for this purpose? Thanks, Leonard G. (talk) 02:00, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
I'm afraid I don't know much about moving articles to Wikibooks. Your best bet would be to read meta:Help:Transwiki or ask at Help:Contents. Sorry I can't be of more help but I honestly don't know much about this and any advice I gave you would probably be hopelessly wrong :) Cynical (talk) 15:28, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Again

Please keep an eye on Soviet war in Afghanistan. Someone keeps changing the result of the war. Thank. 98.119.158.59 (talk) 04:18, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Will do! The article's actually on my watchlist so I'll keep an eye on it and report any vandals who show up. Cynical (talk) 19:28, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Articles for deletion nomination of Feedview

I have nominated Feedview, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Feedview. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
