G5 declines
As I noted here, CSD G5 applies from the date the sockmaster is blocked, not the sock account. There would never be an application of G5 if it applied to the date the sockpuppet was blocked because editors can't create pages after they're blocked.-- Ponyobons mots 20:27, 1 May 2025 (UTC)
- My mistake. I apparently missed that there was sockpuppetry involved. I took care of the re-listed subpages myself. — Cyrius|✎ 20:51, 1 May 2025 (UTC)
- No problem! Thanks for double checking.-- Ponyobons mots 22:10, 1 May 2025 (UTC)
Reverted R3
Hey Cyrius, I noticed a weird CSD nomination when I was processing some and went down the rabbit hole, and found that you deleted Landman ((disambiguation) after it was proposed for R3 deletion. I agree with how you processed it, as it's firmly in R3 territory, but I noticed there were a lot of revisions deleted from what should have just been a bad move that was eventually moved back home. In the end, it turned out a user cut and pasted the text to another page, and the page that was deleted was the original disambiguation page. I restored the page to preserve the edit history, and I wanted to let you know, as I do any time I go against the action of another admin using their toolkit. Imminent suspension of administrative permissions due to inactivity
Established policy provides for removal of the administrative permissions of users who have not made any edits or logged actions in the preceding twelve months. Because you have been inactive, your administrative permissions will be removed if you do not return to activity within the next several days.
Inactive administrators are encouraged to rejoin the project in earnest rather than to make token edits to avoid loss of administrative permissions. Resources and support for reengaging with the project are available at Wikipedia:WikiProject Editor Retention/administrators. If you do not intend to rejoin the project in the foreseeable future, please consider voluntarily resigning your administrative permissions by making a request at the bureaucrats' noticeboard.
Thank you for your past contributions to the project. — JJMC89 bot 00:08, 23 April 2025 (UTC)
Regarding your revert of my speedy deletion suggestion
If I write an article on the redirect page, then the article will neither appear on the mathematics portal nor will it be reviewed.--Tensorproduct (talk) 18:50, 30 April 2025 (UTC)
- "I want my article to show up as new" isn't a valid CSD reason. It certainly isn't the cross-namespace redirect you tagged it as. I don't know what else I can say about that. @Tensorproduct — Cyrius|✎ 19:15, 30 April 2025 (UTC)
- I am talking about appearing on the mathematics portal Wikipedia:WikiProject Mathematics.--Tensorproduct (talk) 19:32, 30 April 2025 (UTC)
- Also it's not possible to connect the wikidata object with the article I wrote for the German Wikipedia. Tensorproduct (talk) 20:14, 2 May 2025 (UTC)

Incorrect image deletions
Hi, unfortunately there is an editor who has wrongly edited a number of images that do not meet the Commons copyright policy to post there. This editor put the wrong tags on the images and then uploaded them to commons (more information here). I see you have gone back and deleted some of these images. I would ask you to reverse the deletions. Unfortunately the page history is no longer available to me, but if you look closely there is no evidence provided of the image being published at the date claimed in the tag that was added. These incorrect deletions include this image and this image. I would ask that you double check the copyright tags and ensure they are correct and substantiated, and verify that the images meet the copyright policy on Commons which is different than enwp, before deleting any images under this rationale. - Done. It all passed the smell test but that's not 100% reliable. — Cyrius|✎ 15:54, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
