Wikipedia articles must be written neutrally in a formal, impersonal, and dispassionate way. They should not read like a blog post, advertisement, or fan page. Rewrite the draft to remove:
- promotional language: see Words to watch;
- personal commentary: opinions or direct addresses to the reader;
- informal language.
Instead, only summarize in your own words a range of independent, reliable, published sources that discuss the subject.
If you have a conflict of interest (e.g. you are the subject, an employee, or a relative) or are being paid to edit, you must disclose this to comply with Wikipedia's Terms of Use.Next steps

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and

I am writing to respectfully request a review of the indefinite block on my Wikipedia account, DBOX.LT.
I understand from the block log that the account was blocked for promotional username and promotional editing, and that my user sandbox was deleted under G11 for unambiguous advertising or promotion. Having reviewed the draft again, I understand why the material could have appeared promotional.
My intention was to prepare a properly sourced draft about DBOX, but I recognize that I approached this incorrectly. In particular, the draft relied too heavily on the DBOX/UAB IT logika website, contained excessive product and partner information, and included material that was more appropriate for a corporate website than an encyclopedia. I also recognize that the username itself can reasonably be interpreted as promotional or connected to the subject.
I do not wish to circumvent the block or recreate the deleted material. I am willing to abandon the existing draft and, if permitted, follow Wikipedia's conflict-of-interest and article-creation procedures instead.
If the subject is considered potentially suitable for an article, I would be prepared to work only from substantial independent sources and to limit any future proposed content to material that has received significant coverage from independent, reliable publications. I would also be willing to disclose my connection to the subject and to submit any proposed article or edits for review rather than editing the subject directly.
I respectfully ask whether the block could be reconsidered, possibly with conditions or restrictions that you consider appropriate. If the block should remain in place, I would appreciate any guidance on the appropriate process for requesting a review in the future.

Can you explain, in your own words, why your edits were promotional?
My edits were promotional because I relied too heavily on DBOX/UAB IT logika’s own website and included too much company-focused information, such as detailed product specifications, commercial applications, partners, customers, projects, and business agreements. I also included language and claims that could present the company and its products in a favorable way rather than focusing only on what independent sources have reported. I understand now that the draft was closer to a corporate profile than a neutral Wikipedia article, and I accept that it needed substantial rewriting to meet Wikipedia’s neutrality and conflict-of-interest standards.
What is your relationship with the subjects you have been editing about?
I have a direct relationship with the subject of the edits. I am associated with DBOX/UAB IT logika, the company behind the DBOX product, and therefore have a conflict of interest regarding this subject. I understand that this connection should have been disclosed and that I should not have approached Wikipedia as though I were an independent editor. I am willing to disclose this relationship and use Wikipedia's appropriate review process for any future proposed content.
If you are unblocked, what topic areas will you edit in?
If unblocked, I intend to edit primarily in general technology, engineering, aviation, drones, and Lithuanian technology-related topics.
