editWelcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Rugrats has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 19:52, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
The recent edit you made to Rugrats constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 19:54, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
- You keep adding the "return date" to the article. But, in the wrong context. Per, your "recent edits". -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 20:00, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
I'm Not A Vandal
editIf anyone sees that note from Think Blue, he said that I vandalized Rugrats, well I didn't and I wouldn't ever vandalize a page. (No Offense Think Blue.)--DJ WikiBob (talk) 20:04, 27 August 2008 (UTC)DJ WikiBob
- For what its worth DJ, I don't think you're a vandal! But your edits can appear sloppy at times. I'll leave a welcome message with a few good links in it below this. Happy editing :-) John Sloan (talk) 20:29, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Sequel 2 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Rnb (talk) 15:16, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Sequel 2, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of Sequel 2 and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Tkd 2000 (talk) 22:12, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from List of programs broadcast by Nickelodeon. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. October 2008
editPlease do not add original research or novel syntheses of previously published material to our articles . Please cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you. I've noticed a substantial amount of your contributions are reverted for failing to source the claims you add. Please do not add things you assume might happen, heard on a forum or just made up yourself to any articles as factuality is a big concern here and action might be taken if things continue. Not considering you a vandal, just making sure you're aware that every addition made must be backed up with a source. treelo radda 20:41, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. treelo radda 20:49, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
On the second warning you gave, I didn't need the second warning becasue I didn't do something that deserved a second warning, because I was working on List of programs broadcast by Nickelodeon. So I don't deserve a second warning. --P.S. I Rock Wikipedia! (talk) 20:53, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
- I didn't specify what edit I had issues with, it was this one because I had to remove it twice and I warned you accordingly. You can't add something that's a baseless "maybe" to an article, there's no way of verifying what you added or even sourcing it so it's little more than something you made up and not factual at all. Don't keep adding that these "lost episodes" might be aired, you don't know and nor does anyone else. treelo radda 21:20, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
New homepage! We've redesigned the home page for (hopefully) the last time for a while. If you don't like the new design, the old page is archived here. To match the new design, the newsletter's format has also been redesigned. I hope you like it!
As the member list seems to have gone basically stale, I have removed all members from the list and moved the member list to a page that is transcluded onto the home page. Please DO NOT add your name to the homepage! Thanks! |
Sorry this issue is a bit late... Personal obligations have overtaken my Wikipedia time, and I haven't exactly had time to send out this issue. November's issue is coming soon. I promise. :-)
Every month, I choose an article that I think needs help, or is just plain interesting. This month's article is Nickelodeon Magazine. Nickelodeon Magazine's article needs help. There are no sources. I know, for this page, it's practically impossible to get it to a FA, but let's imagine we're trying to get it to FA status. That will be a motive for us to add sources, improve the writing, etc. Let's work on this article for the wellness of it! </pep talk>

editI just got your message. Just saying. Good luck and everything. But hey, I have a series too, Its on my first sandbox. Check it out from my main page.--Wikialexdx (talk) 04:04, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
Dont worry I will. Just relax, and wait for another message. :) toodles --Wikialexdx (talk) 20:55, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
Holiday issue?! We know you're going to be busy this holiday seasons, from ordering iPods to unboxing them. So we've decided to combine two newsletters into one: the Nickelodeon WikiProject's Holiday Newsletter. Hope you enjoy it!
If you were a member of WP:NICK before the relaunch, please, please, please add your name to the member list! We need as much help as we can get! We currently have 5 members, down from a previous 40+. We know some of you are still here! |
Happy holidays! I hope all of you have a safe and fun holiday season, so get outside, enjoy the sunshine while it lasts! (in the Northern Hemisphere) For our Southern Hemisphere folks, get outside, and enjoy the sunshine, since it's spring/summer there!
We now have the answer on what to do with this long-lasting dispute. The community has decided to split the Nick.com section into its own article. For this reason, I have opened a sandbox here. Let's get moving so we can fix this quickly!
|
Slight layout changes We have made a few layout changes, some of which are temporary. You'll notice, compared to last month's issue, that there was an image in this column. It is now gone temporarily for the holiday (double) issue. Also, we have removed the box with the delivery notice to make it less flashy (and there were div issues, if you're techie).
Note: This is a double issue, so we will not have an article of the month this time around. Sorry! |
RfA
editI removed your edit which appeared to be attempting to add an RfA request for yourself. The page must exist when you transclude it into the RfA page. Frank | talk 00:15, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
- If you are thinking of becoming an administrator, I would encourage you to wait a bit. A few of the many things people look for in future administrators:
- Several thousand edits, not counting edits made with tools that let you pump out hundreds of edits an hour.
- At least 6 to 12 months of quality editing. Quality editing means things like improving articles, participating in WikiProjects, contributing to good articles and featured content, doing work at "Did you know," etc. Quality editing also means a good mix of editing articles, participating in discussions, and doing "maintenance" work on the project. Quality editing also means no blocks and few if any warnings due to editing behavior. Some warnings, such a deletion of non-free images that were once in use but are no longer in use, won't count against you. Having a small percentage of your articles and images go away to deletion won't hurt either, unless the reason for deletion indicates poor judgment on your part, e.g. vandalism, knowingly uploading copyrighted text, etc.
- A good, although not necessarily perfect, knowledge of the rules.
- A good track record of being nice to other editors.
- With only a few months of editing, you don't have all of these now, but there's no reason you can't have them by mid-year. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 02:12, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
MfD nomination of User:DJ WikiBob/Sandbox 2
editUser:DJ WikiBob/Sandbox 2, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:DJ WikiBob/Sandbox 2 and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:DJ WikiBob/Sandbox 2 during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. roux 00:16, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

RE: Mirror site
editPer this, unfortuanetly a lot of sites mirror Wikipedia. I suggest you add {{Userpage}} to the top of your userpage and {{Usertalkpage}} to the top of your talk page. This at least shows that you are only connected to Wikipedia and not the mirror site. Happy editing! John Sloan (view / chat) 22:22, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
Your sandboxes
editI suggest you to move your fake TV show subpages back to their original titles of "Sandbox", "Sandbox 2" and "Sandbox 3". One of the key factors of them surviving MfD was the fact that they are harmless sandboxes. They now appear as hoaxes and further violations of WP:MYSPACE. You've survived MfD once, my advice to you as a fellow member of WP:NICK is don't push your luck my friend! Having said that, I have no intention of submitting them to MfD myself. But you never know, someone else could. This is only advice, its up to you at the end of day. Thanks :-) John Sloan (view / chat) 02:40, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
- Also, you may want to add your name to this list here! ;-) John Sloan (view / chat) 14:30, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

- If you had checked the edit summaries[1][2][3][4][5] and/or looked at the talk page[6] even just looked at the article you would have seen that I was improving the article, not vandalising it, and that I had explained what I had done. It pays check these things before unding the hard work of others.
- Regarding pairing of episodes, as per this edit, I'd like to direct your attention to Talk:List of The Penguins of Madagascar episodes#Pairing episodes makes no sense. --AussieLegend (talk) 02:17, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
Today's reversion
editThis edit to List of The Penguins of Madagascar episodes constitutes vandalism. Aside from reintroducing the confusing episode numbering that you seem to like, it deleted numerous edits that changed citation dates, deleted changes to episode summaries, whole episode summaries, and even whole episodes. It's irresponsible to make such changes and you need to take a lot more care. Ironically, two of the changes that you reverted were yours. Please be more careful in future. --AussieLegend (talk) 04:48, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Rock Tour (Game)
editA proposed deletion template has been added to the article Rock Tour (Game), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Game with no assertion of notability.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Reverting edits as vandalism
editHi. Please don't label others edits as "vandalism" just because you don't like them (As you did here, here and here). I do not see any evidence of vandalism, they appear to be valid edits and good faith should be presumed. If anything, it is your reverts that are amiss; as it doesn't offer any valid explanation as to what was wrong with the edits. Thanks. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 21:04, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
May 2009
editConstructive contributions are appreciated and strongly encouraged, but your recent edit to the userpage of another user may be considered vandalism. Specifically, your edit to User:Titteringtonj7 may be offensive or unwelcome. In general it is considered polite to avoid substantially editing others' userpages without their permission. Instead, please bring the matter to their talk page and let them edit their user page themselves if they agree on a need to do so. Please refer to Wikipedia:User page for more information on User page etiquette. Thank you. Ronhjones (Talk) 22:45, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
File:Mcdonald's Goes BOOM!.png has been nominated for deletion
editFile:Mcdonald's Goes BOOM!.png has been nominated for deletion as you have specified that you are the author but you have indicated that it was found through a Google search, which is contradictory. In almost all cases, if you have found the image on another website you can not be the author of the image. Additionally, there is no evidence that the source has released it into the public domain as you have indicated. --AussieLegend (talk) 23:47, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
Regarding your comments on List of iCarly episodes: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Falsely labeling good faith edits as vandalism.
