Intersection with an active user?
editHi DR. I asked Alex Bakharev to help in checking the sock puppet accounts attributed to me. User:Serebr told me that you found an intersection of these accounts with an "active user". This could help the investigation. Was that one of our friends from the "party of operators"? SA ru (talk) 22:26, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not sure, about what case do you speak (as you can see [1], [2], I was 2 month in a wikibreak) and not very familiar whit current situation. But in any case I don't reveal any additional information, that I haven't already written on the respective request's page --D.R (talk) 18:26, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
- No need. We are calling this guy who intersected with WaiWai (or similar name) "Smotrov" (in quotes) in livejournal. We also like Panther. Panther is cool. SA ru (talk) 21:26, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

- I am having an interesting discussion with Panther in LJ. He basically confirmed that none of the alleged sock puppets intersect with me. Since we know that you know that one of the puppets intersects with a known user, you should think seriously about this. Of course if you take your check-user responsibilities seriously. SA ru (talk) 15:36, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
- Panther is not a checkuser and therefore his opinion about "somebody ... intersect with somebody" have the same reliability as yours. Checkusers (at least ru.wiki checkusers) have only one way to share data with community - publishing on the respective request's page. And I am ready to answer for a validity of any CU check's results signed by me. --D.R (talk) 18:20, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, if you read what Panther said you will see that he claims that he got some information specifically from the check-users, and this information confirms ... and then he goes into some wild speculations about my traveling, vacations, internet availability, character, integrity, and this goes on, and on and on. This contradicts your statement that you share the information with others in only one way. I do not know how you call this, but I call this harassment. What would you do if all of a sudden wikipedia authorities start publishing this stuff about you? SA ru (talk) 18:56, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
- If you suspect me or any other checkuser of privacy violation (incl. releasing information about your current location etc.), feel free to contact an ombudsman commission. But please, free me from the necessity to read your wild speculations --D.R (talk) 20:27, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
- Ha-ha. I liked your joke, DR. You are a smart guy. So long. SA ru (talk) 21:01, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

Serebr (talk) 22:10, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Serebr (talk) 18:45, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
Gork
Gork(russia) (talk) 10:57, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
Hhhggg (talk) 13:01, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
--DR (talk) 16:23, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
Hhhggg (talk) 19:32, 18 April 2012 (UTC)

editPlease note that this is English Wikipedia, and all contributions should be in English. It is a mistake to think that talk page conversations are "private", and that as long as the person addressed understands that is all that matters. All members of the community should be able to follow all discussions. JamesBWatson (talk) 15:07, 25 April 2012 (UTC)
- James, what should I do if the non-english speaker (at least according to his user page) asks me a wikipedia-related question on my talk page on other language than English? I can't reply in English, since he don't understand it. I can't reply privately per email because this function is disabled. Should I leave it unanswered? --DR (talk) 18:17, 25 April 2012 (UTC)

JSTOR cleanup drive
editHello TWL users! We hope JSTOR has been a useful resource for your work. We're organizing a cleanup drive to correct dead links to JSTOR articles – these require JSTOR access and cannot easily be corrected by bot. We'd love for you to jump in and help out!

Can you help creating an ambigram, please?
editHi! I saw you as an author of "WIKIPEDIA" ambigram. That's a cool thing! I'm looking for someone to create one for "ВІКІПЕДІЯ". And I thought maybe you can help… 'cause no one from my friends can do it. What do you think? -- Ата (talk) 08:55, 15 October 2016 (UTC)
- Unfortunately I'm not an author neither of "WIKIPEDIA" ambigram nor of any other. I think you mean the old owner of this account (see User_talk:DR_(usurped)), but his last edit was from 2015. --DR (talk) 17:12, 6 April 2020 (UTC)
