Nice signature....

..thanks for adding Philip IV's signature - looks good! Is there any chance you could add where it came from to the description file though? Reason I ask is that at the moment is just says that it's your own work, but I'm guessing it's been scanned in from a book or similar document. No hurry, no worry they seem slowly slowly over at Commons. Please don't feel you have done anything wrong at all - signatures are all over the place here and not against any policy that I know of. There are uses that support them and users that don't - we need a consensus and a clear guideline about them, regards. Off2riorob (talk) 20:00, 15 July 2011 (UTC)

While I have reverted you on hte Spanish Wikipedia due to JW's comments don't feel that all signatures are bad. Maybe this incident will spark a discussion and solidify policy in any direction. In this particular case the wish of the subject while alive should be respected. The same goes for any other living subject. Agathoclea (talk) 20:16, 15 July 2011 (UTC)
