editHello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. - I see the article was edited to add the Irish nationality earlier today. Wasn't you, of course. Seasider53 (talk) 11:26, 24 April 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, that was me. Sorry, I forgot to log in with my username. DanielTokenhouse (talk) 11:30, 24 April 2024 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Seasider53 (talk) 11:36, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hi - can you confirm what I’ve done??? DanielTokenhouse (talk) 11:51, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at Steve Coogan shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. editHello, I'm Uamaol. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Joe (website), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You implied that Joe.ie held "Anti-English sentiment" yet didn't provide a source to this highly controversial claim. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at The Mary Wallopers. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. It's already been established on the Talk page that there's zero evidence of the subject's "Anti-English sentiment." UaMaol (talk) 23:47, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Rich Peppiatt. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - He’s been warned enough about this. Can we not ask for a block? Seasider53 (talk) 00:52, 26 September 2024 (UTC)
- @Seasider53: I was in the process of writing one. See below. UaMaol (talk) 01:00, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
