Sphendone

Thank you for your contribution, but it badly needs a source. Please remeber also that there are two meanings of the word.Xx236 (talk) 07:35, 25 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sphendone, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Greek (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Chiloschista

edit

Hello Daniel Jacobson Seagull,

You have twice changed Chiloschista segawae to Chiloschista segawai in the article about the orchid genus Chiloschista. The species was originally named Sarcochilus segawai (in 1934) then changed to Chiloschista segawai in 1974, but to conform to the rules of biological nomenclature (same gender for genus and species) should have been Chiloschista segawae. (Chiloschista segawai is an orth. var. used only by the Flora of Taiwan.)[1][2] As I am about to write an article on this species and do not wish to revert your edit a second time, please correct the spelling yourself.
