WikiProject Beetles

Hi! I am Gug01 and I noticed that you are in WikiProject Beetles. Now so am I. I was thinking that we could work together to revive the project. Cheers! Gug01 (talk) 16:21, 26 December 2014 (UTC) Gug 01

Thanks. I am interested in providing illustrations and references and in Wikidata information on beetles. Am currently drafting a Wikidata-related research proposal where taxonomy and identification keys are likely to be covered in some form, which may provide opportunities to work on beetles too. -- Daniel Mietchen (talk) 16:40, 26 December 2014 (UTC)

WikiProject Beetles

Hi! Last time I asked you about WikiProject Beetles and you responded that you are working on WikiData. If so, may I ask a favor of you? Please add some WikiData for the Category:Eocarterus. Thanks! Gug01 (talk) 14:31, 19 January 2015 (UTC) Gug 01

Done – all articles in that category now have a corresponding Wikidata item. -- Daniel Mietchen (talk) 10:41, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

hi, we are developing a public database dedicated to sugar-protein (lectin) interactions of hosts with pathogens. There is an entry for sialyl-Lewis x as well as Sialyl-Lewis a, each describing some biological facts so we would like to suggest linking corresponding wikipedia pages to these entries. For further information: http://sugarbind.expasy.org/ligands/129 http://sugarbind.expasy.org/ligands/162

you can check us, we are part of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ExPASy this is real and internationally recognised. It would be really nice to complement the knowledge of Lewis antigens with the information we store in the SugarBind database. the database is manually curated (as described on our website).

I have discussed this issue at the wikipermanence in Geneva and they directed me to you. They suggested adding a new item for SugarBind in the ChemBox but of course I cannot do that.

Thank you for your consideration your can contact me anytime (see http://sugarbind.expasy.org) best frederique 2001:620:600:6000:218:FEFF:FE28:AECE (talk) 16:22, 18 January 2015 (UTC)

Thanks. I think the best place to discuss this on the English Wikipedia would be WT:CHEMISTRY, and d:Wikidata talk:WikiProject Chemistry for Wikidata. -- Daniel Mietchen (talk) 10:45, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
