Timestamp for international goals section

edit

Hi there. :-) Is there a particular reason why you removed the timestamp from the international goals section at Milot Rashica or did that happen by mistake? Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 20:39, 13 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

I like the international goals sections on players' pages to look more uniform to one another so it can be less confusing to other editors. I figured it would be for the best. Sorry about that. DasGermanMoses (User talk:DasGermanMoses) 22:22, 13 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

I'm not against consistency at all but why remove the timestamp? [Edit] I've reinstated it for now. Also, "style="font-size:100%;" is unnecessary code so I've removed it. Robby.is.on (talk) 22:53, 13 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Domen Črnigoj, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Daugava Stadium (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. non FIFA matches

edit

Non-FIFA matches are included in the players' total balance. Always. For examples matches with Gibraltarin EURO 2016 qualifiers, when Gibraltar was not in FIFA. Wolfgang (talk) 17:07, 9 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Robert Lewandowski So, 3 Non Fifa matches, 7 Non FIFA goals - now demonstrance your sapience. Go! Wolfgang (talk) 17:11, 9 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Wolfgang: If I may respond (as a page stalker): My understanding is that we count official FIFA matches only for international caps. A discussion at WP:FOOTY from 2016 seems to confirm that. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 17:36, 9 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Robby.is.on: OK, so please change this here, based on Robert Lewandowski Double standards? Wolfgang (talk) 19:39, 9 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Wolfgang: More likely inconsistency (due to different editors with differing knowledge) than double standards, I'd say. I've corrected Lewandowski's stats. Cheers, Robby.is.on (talk) 21:04, 9 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Robby.is.on: Thanks, but probably not for long. You will see double standards with your own eyes, when your edit will be undone by someone, because you removed Lewandowski's matches from the EURO 2016 qualifying with Gibraltar. They were non-FIFA, but pro-UEFA, and - it's very important - not friendlies. Everyone and always counts them to the balance. Bayern, UEFA, and many serious people and organizations... But not Wikipedia. Wow. You are the smartest. Wolfgang (talk) 21:23, 9 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Wolfgang: Then perhaps this needs be discussed anew at WP:FOOTY. "Wow. You are the smartest." – What have I done that would justify this antagonistic comment? Robby.is.on (talk) 21:27, 9 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Robby.is.on: You - this word doesn't have equivalent in the plural sector in English. I am, you are, he/she/it is / we are, YOU ARE (I used it), they are. Poor language :) Wolfgang (talk) 07:46, 10 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Wolfgang: Mm, okay. :-) Robby.is.on (talk) 13:35, 11 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Your last edition makes the table illegible. Why don't you look at the best tabels? Ronaldo or Lewandowski - there is a legible record. Kagere now has ingelible. Wolfgang (talk) 20:50, 10 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Standard layout and formatting of career statistics tables

edit

Hi DasGermanMoses. Thanks for adding the international goals table at Novatus Miroshi. Going forward, please use the standard table layout and formatting as outlined at Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Players. It is the result of past discussions of the community of football editors at Wikipedia:WikiProject Football. At Novatus Miroshi, I made the necessary corrections. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 20:24, 26 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi Robby, I have not been on Wikipedia for a while now, so I was not aware of these past discussions. Thank you for informing me of the agreed upon layout. I will be using it for my future edits. DasGermanMoses (talk) 22:00, 26 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Sorry. I didn't realize the table style I was different than the one I've been using. I was mostly foccusing on the rowspanning. I'll try my best to get it right. Pleas let me know what else I can do. DasGermanMoses (talk) 09:42, 30 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay, no problem. I'll try to specify the most important differences:
  1. There should no separate "International goals" heading; "international" will do.
  2. "Scores and results list <country>'s goal tally first" is followed by ", score column indicates score after each <player> goal.'
  3. The goal number should not be followed by a full stop.
You can also see the changes I made at Nicholas Wadada here. Robby.is.on (talk) 10:38, 30 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
