Hello! There's not a lot on your stub article above at the moment and it lacks sources too. Are you planning a series of articles on the history of carpentry? Can the series be added to the main article instead? It is very important for you to add sources for claims and statements made in articles, as this assists other researchers when they use Wikipedia for academic work. Unsourced statements tend to be redacted as they cannot be supported and may be the opinion of the author rather than a researched fact. (aeropagitica) 20:15, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
Hi, I did some research on the web, and found some fairly good sites on medieval carpentry. I've emailed their owners for permission to use parts of them, which I will compile on the Wiki article. I'm not an expert on the topic, but it should provide a springboard from which others can take over. I'll add the sources then - the stub is incomplete right now. I decided to make it because I was looking for some information on the topic. It will fit in with other articles on Wikipedia on Medieval art etc. --Dataspinner 10:47, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
