edithttps://www.allmusic.com/album/release/picture-perfect-bonus-tracks-mr0004719234/credits states you're a producer. Not a band member. Most hired hands are not members. Is there an interview or something where McCoy, Weaver or Dunaway state that you are a member and not just a hired musician? I know a handful of producers and bands will hire them to play on the road with them, but the musicians don't think of them as band members. Of course, the producers don't think of themselves as band members either, which makes your claims that you feel you are a band member a bit more unusual. And further to that, AllMusic doesn't list you in anything but a technical role: https://www.allmusic.com/artist/david-troia-mn0000533110 either engineering, tracking, mixing or producing. Managing a conflict of interest
editHello, DavId Troia. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article 12 Stones, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. Editing for the purpose of advertising or promotion is not permitted. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID). Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 13:59, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
==good morning. My contributions were not added to promote myself but rather to clarify a glaring error in the article regarding a trademarked organization that is being misrepresented by not including the accurate lists of members. Yes I produced the record. I produced a lot of records. But 12 Stones is a band that I play bass....in not a client.

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. MPS1992 (talk) 14:17, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
- Your message here is completely unacceptable and isn't going to fly. Concerns were raised at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents as to whether or not the response made a legal threat or not. Given the uncivil and irate temperament demonstrated on the message, as well as your statements, "legal team needs to call", and "I’ll have my attorney work on it" - are enough for me to block you on these grounds. That issue aside, your message clearly shows that you don't intend to collaborate or contribute here peacefully. Hence, I have blocked your account indefinitely from editing Wikipedia. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 14:33, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
- As far as the legal threat block goes, please see WP:NLT. -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 08:30, 12 February 2018 (UTC)
Contacting Wikipedia volunteers by email
editHello David. Given the above outcome of events above, you may find the part about emailing at Wikipedia:Contact us - Subjects to be useful. MPS1992 (talk) 15:01, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, that would be a better idea than the whole legal team threat. Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Help has info that may be useful.
- As for as the image take down request, Wikipedia:Contact OTRS has a variety of email contacts to the Foundation. They handle such matters.
- As for "wanting the info up-to-date for your fans" issue, we are not a promotional venue. The best way to update your fans is the band's website. Hope this helps. -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 08:27, 12 February 2018 (UTC)
