Ukip leadership election

edit

Hi you created 2020 UK Independence Party leadership election but there are no sources in the article or voting figures. Do you have any? This one did not attract much media attention at the time (I thought Vachha was elected a few weeks back). Timrollpickering (talk) 17:51, 22 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Not yet - [[1]] is the news item that prompted me creating the page. I figured the details would be in the press today, but they seem to not know how he was elected either. Maybe best just to delete it. DaveChild (talk) 10:11, 23 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

The article 2020 UK Independence Party leadership election has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There's no RS coverage of a 2020 Ukip leadership election; it's not clear that Vachha was elected to the position and if he was, the leadership election does not meet any notability criteria.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ralbegen (talk) 21:21, 22 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

No problem, it's starting to look like they didn't bother having an election this time around, so delete away. DaveChild (talk) 10:13, 23 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
