Too quick a merge?

Hi David, I see that you closed the discussion on merging two articles on asphalt concrete after three days. The normal period is a week per WP:MERGECLOSE. I was formulating my thoughts on the topic to decide whether I supported the move, so I was surprised to see it close so quickly. There seems to be no objections, so let's let it remain as it is.
