editPlease stop uploading logos and claiming they are your own work. Seasider53 (talk) 15:19, 11 September 2024 (UTC)
- A follow up question If I may, How does one change the badge of a club which is incorrect then? If it won't let me upload an image without claiming it's my own work? DavidRobertHall (talk) 15:50, 11 September 2024 (UTC)
- The best way to update a club logo is to go to the original logo and click "Upload a new version of this file". However, a couple of tips:
- Images must be less than 100,000 pixels in size. This means it can't be larger than (e.g.) 316 x 316 pixels.
- Make sure you crop them as tightly as possible; for example File:Basford United FC Badge.png could have been cropped more tightly at the top. This is important as given the limit on size, any unused space will make the image smaller.
- When making backgrounds transparent, be careful not to make white areas within the logo transparent (which is what has happened at File:Lancaster City FC Badge.png)
- Happy to answer any other questions you might have. Cheers, Number 57 20:06, 11 September 2024 (UTC)
