Help me!

edit

I posted with prior permission a photo:

BusCard_II.jpg

to the following page:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commodore_64_peripherals#IEEE-488

however, I never asked the author what license he wanted (my massive newbie blunder). I put it as CC0 and the author disagrees with this license.

That's fair, so I immediately reverted the page as soon as he notified me of this, but I would like to speedy-delete the file and I can't figure out how to do it.

Please help me with...

Can you tell me how to ask for speedy deletion of the file? David Buchan (talk) 15:33, 5 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi there, the file, File:BusCard_II.jpg, is located at Wikimedia Commons - which isn't Wikipedia, so you will need to edit at Wikimedia Commons to do this (however, both Wikipedia and Commons are similar, they are sister projects). I have requested speedy deletion of this file, linking to this discussion here, so any administrator can see what you have said. You may wish to see this page or this file for help on what you can upload, and about different licences.  Seagull123  Φ  15:49, 5 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
Just realised I didn't fully answer your question, you can find out how to request speedy deletion here - add the text {{Copyvio |1= <reason>|source= <source>}} to the file page, replacing <reason> with the reason the file is a copyright violation, and <source> with the URL of where it's copied from, and where it shows it's a violation (however, only the <reason> is required).  Seagull123  Φ  15:56, 5 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your help. How do I see the file page? Or is that the page I posted the image to (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commodore_64_peripherals#IEEE-488)? That was my main confusion.

Ah. Found it.
