Andorian Empire sourcing

Hi! While I can verify that the Andorians exist simply from my Voyager-era knowledge, I can't find a reference to the Andorian Empire per se in the latest (to my knowledge) Star Trek Encyclopedia covering up through 1999 (though the title has "Stardate: 1966-2001", it's not correct). I've raised the issue on the article's talk page, and I'd appreciate it if you'd share what you're basing the article off of. I'd hate to see another Star Trek article get deleted because of original research or not citing sources. Anyway, your help in continuing to improve the article you created would be greatly welcomed.
