A discussion is taking place as to whether the article K Rend is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/K Rend until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm Bonadea. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to External render because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. bonadea contributions talk 08:55, 3 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I know that Wikipedia can be very confusing. The edits you made replaced all full stops in the references with "#"s, which broke the references - don't worry about it, it has been fixed, but you might want to use the sandbox (linked above) to experiment in. Cheers, --bonadea contributions talk 09:42, 3 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

The recent edit you made to K Rend has been reverted, as it removed all content from the page without explanation. Please do not do this, as it is considered vandalism; instead, use the sandbox for testing. If you think the page should be deleted, see here for what to do. Thank you. -- haminoon (talk) 10:34, 3 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hallo Debbie, do you work for the K Rend company or have any other financial relationship to it? I ask because if so you need to read WP:COI and consider whether you should be editing this article. Please also note the [Terms of Use] which include "As part of these obligations, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. You must make that disclosure in at least one of the following ways:a statement on your user page, a statement on the talk page accompanying any paid contributions, or a statement in the edit summary accompanying any paid contributions." Debbie M Wilson (talk) 07:49, 30 April 2015 (UTC)Hello. Yes I do work for the company for Kilwaughter Chemical Co. Ltd, who manufacture K Rend. I am a first time user of Wikipedia however have managed to successfully upload the External Render Page in Wikipedia. As regards trying to get the K Rend page uploaded successfully I am having great difficulty. I have followed guidelines making sure the article is unbiased, I have cited it to external sources and linked it to Wikipedia pages. I have created the page in Sandbox this time as it has been deleted twice now. I would be grateful for any help/advice you can offer. Really need to get this page up and running.Debbie M Wilson (talk) 07:49, 30 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of K Rend

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on K Rend, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.  Velella  Velella Talk   18:38, 24 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

COI

edit

You have an obvious conflict of interest, thank you for declaring it. I've recast it in the mandated form using template {{Paid}}.

Please read the following regarding writing an article

  • you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the organisation claims or interviewing its management. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls
  • The notability guidelines for organisations and companies have been updated. The primary criteria has five components that must be evaluated separately and independently to determine if it is met:
  1. significant coverage in
  2. independent,
  3. multiple,
  4. reliable,
  5. secondary sources.
Note that an individual source must meet all four criteria to be counted towards notability.
  • you must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic.
  • there shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • you must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 10:47, 26 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
