editPlease do not edit war when one of your edits is reverted: go to the talk page to discuss, as per WP:BRD. Your edit was unsourced, as has already been explained to you. It also contains original research (which is why we insist on using secondary sources) because you have interpreted something not explicitly stated in the film. - SchroCat (talk) 05:15, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Dynamic Armor, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Dynamic Armour. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 16:40, 25 May 2015 (UTC)

editHi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Dynamic Armor a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. References
editPlease read WP:reliable sources. Commercial websites exist to sell products and, although they may provide other information, they are not acceptable as references for the products they sell. Vsmith (talk) 20:57, 22 July 2015 (UTC)
NRA edit
editI support the change you made to the NRA intro but I suspect it will get reversed. It is probably worth finding a second source that says the same thing. Your Open Secrets source may be accused of being OR. Springee (talk) 18:40, 18 July 2018 (UTC)
Viktor Belenko
editHi, thanks for checking out the references on Viktor Belenko. One comment though; instead of deleting the references, mark them with the {{failed verification}} flag. That will leave the reference in place, but flagged as faulty. When someone later tried to find teh correct reference, at least they'll have the erroneous one as a starting point.
You can still add the {{cn}} template of course.
I used the faulty references to search aad.archives.gov and found the right ones. TJRC (talk) 23:18, 2 August 2018 (UTC)
If you have an affiliation with Steve Stivers, you need to declare so per WP:COI. Snooganssnoogans (talk) 20:16, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
- I do not. I only know of the Cents and Sensibility Act from my work at the U.S. Mint, and since he was the author of it, and it was major legislation for the state of Ohio and for the Mint itself for many, many years, it deserves to stay on his page. DeeJaye6 (talk) 07:05, 16 January 2021 (UTC)

editPlease do not attack other editors, as you did at User_talk:Snooganssnoogans#Stalking. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. OhKayeSierra (talk) 14:35, 16 January 2021 (UTC)
- What I said was fact, not an attack. He has followed and constantly reverted edits on political pages many times before, and in every case, it was to remove negatives about left-leaning politicians, or to remove what he thought were positives about right-leaning politicians.
Please stop edit warring at Steve Stivers
editI'm baffled by your edit summary here, where you state that Snooganssnoogans "is providing zero reasoning for deleting so much relevant information". Asking you to read WP:SYNTH is hardly "zero reasoning", as WP:SYNTH explains exactly what was wrong with your sourcing: "Do not combine material from multiple sources to reach or imply a conclusion not explicitly stated by any of the sources". Wikipedia goes by reliable secondary sources — you don't get to combine several primary sources and draw your own conclusions. Also, you need to stop pestering Snoogans on their talk. By "pestering" I mean the way you jumped in when another user made an unrelated complaint here. This is a warning from an administrator.
If you are serious when you say above "He has followed and constantly reverted edits on political pages many times before, and in every case, it was to remove negatives about left-leaning politicians, or to remove what he thought were positives about right-leaning politicians", feel free to give examples and I will look into it. I note your text that Snoogans removed at Steve Stivers (a Republican politician) could hardly be taken as positive, so in that instance your claim seems to fall down. Bishonen | tålk 21:32, 16 January 2021 (UTC).
- He was constantly deleting what, at first glance, reads like a bill that was a very good idea, saving so much money for America. After I pointed out how bad the bill was, he has stopped deleting. The link at the end shows the actual links to the Cents and Sensibility Act. I make no conclusions in the text; I reported that the U.S. Mint Technical Report appendix in the 2014 Alternative Metals Study said, flat-out, that steel was an unacceptable metal for US coins, and in spite of that, Stivers kept the wording of the subsequent bills in 2015 and 2017 the same as they had been, demanding that US coins be made from steel. All of the references in that paragraph support the information.
- As far as Snooganssnoogans' propensity for lopsidedly editing conservative vs liberal pages, it is clearly seen in his Talk page.
- I am mystified as to why you are asking me to stop warring and not him. DeeJaye6 (talk) 21:55, 16 January 2021 (UTC)
- Mystified? And yet I explained what was wrong with your text, which Snoogans was removing. Man, it's easy to mystify people these days. Perhaps it's because (as I suspect) you still haven't read WP:SYNTH? Or did you read it and just disagree with it? It's policy, you know. As for Snoogans' talkpage showing his "propensity" for politically lopsided editing: no. It just shows the propensity for users of opposing viewpoints, and possibly of less Wikipedia experience, to accuse him of lopsided editing. All highly active editors in controversial areas get that. That's why I asked you for examples. If you don't want to provide them, fine. If you want to but don't know how to create diffs, please see Wikipedia:Simple diff and link guide.
